About me

Hello there! Thanks for stopping by.

I am a designer and illustrator that uses data to communicate nuanced issues, open dialogue, and to entertain and delight.

In college, knowing absolutely nothing out of what I wanted in life, I landed in business school. In one of my classes, our professor showed us the water bottle video, where they deconstruct the entire supply chain of a plastic water bottle like where the raw materials were collected, how they were transported, processed, all the way to the product being put on a shelf for a human to buy. I was absolutely mesmerized. I decided to study Supply Chain Management and got my Bachelors degree from the University of Oklahoma with a minor in Spanish. At my first job, I managed the supply chain for a product line at a chemicals company, whose materials make things like airbags, carpet, and lululemon fabric. This experience helped me build skills around decomposing complex systems, extracting the information that is useful in those systems, and using this knowledge to achieve several goals simultaneously.

I have since transformed my interest in details and chaos into a more visually creative medium, data visualization. This is what I love to do!

I live in the beautiful state of Colorado, so outside of work, some of my hobbies include illustrating, hiking, biking and rock climbing with my husband, cooking, and playing with my dog Pablo.
